This Draft Standard for Trial Use provides the format and establishes the data contents of the Scale Rate Table Transaction Set (460) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set is used to transmit rail scale rate tables.
To indicate the start of a transaction set and to assign a control number
To identify an external reference.
To specify the column headers as related to the docket.
To specify the rate base, rates and maximum miles in the scale tables.
To indicate the end of the transaction set and provide the count of the transmitted segments (including the beginning (ST) and ending (SE) segments).
