Standard Carrier Alpha Code

Code specifying the method or type of transportation for the shipment.

Code identifying the country.

M1003 is the code identifying the country in which the ship (vessel) is registered.

Code identifying vessel.

M1004 is Lloyd's vessel code.

Name of ship as documented in "Lloyd's Register of Ships".

Identifying designator for the particular flight or voyage on which the cargo travels.

Reference number or identification number as defined for a particular Transaction Set, or as specified by the Reference Number Qualifier.

M1007 is used for the 6-digit Numeric Manifest Sequence Number.

Numeric value of quantity.

M1008 is used for Number of Bills Lading. (Maximum 5 Digits.)

Code indicating a Yes or No condition or response.

M1011 indicates if the transmission involves an in-bond participant. A ``Y'' indicates it does. An ``N'' indicates it does not.

M1012 is a unique identification number for the manifest assigned by the originator of the manifest with a maximum length of 15.
