This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Vehicle Application Advice Transaction Set (126) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment.
This transaction set can be used by the vehicle manufacturer to notify a carrier as to the result of processing the transactions received from the carrier during the previous day or payments being released today or both.
To indicate the start of a transaction set and to assign a control number
To indicate the beginning of the vehicle application advice transaction
To provide vessel details and voyage number
To reference details of the tariff used to arrive at applicable rates or charge
To provide detail for vehicle application edit results
To reference details of the tariff used to arrive at applicable rates or charge
To indicate the end of the transaction set and provide the count of the transmitted segments (including the beginning (ST) and ending (SE) segments).
