This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Shipper's Export Declaration Transaction Set (601) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment.
This transaction set can be used by shippers, freight forwarders, or carriers to provide the United States Bureau of the Census with shipper export declaration information.
