This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Rate Docket Journal Log Transaction Set (468) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to transmit comments about rates contained in a rate docket.
To indicate the start of a transaction set and to assign a control number
To assign an identification to a docket
To indicate the carrier, date, time, and individual making a journal entry
To transmit information in a free-form format for comment or special instruction
To indicate the end of the transaction set and provide the count of the transmitted segments (including the beginning (ST) and ending (SE) segments)
