This Draft Standard for Trial Use contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Routing Instructions Transaction Set (754) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set is used to communicate routing instructions to a supplier for a specific shipment. It can be used also to respond to a Request for Routing Instructions Transaction Set (753).
To indicate the start of a transaction set and to assign a control number
