This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Rate Docket Expiration Transaction Set (486) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. The transaction set can be used to transmit the expiration date of a docket.
To indicate the start of a transaction set and to assign a control number
To specify primary identification data for request or information
To assign an identification to a range of dockets
To communicate basis of pricing, such as contract number, quote number, or tariff number
To identify a carrier and person taking action or making changes
To indicate the end of the transaction set and provide the count of the transmitted segments (including the beginning (ST) and ending (SE) segments)
