This X12 Transaction Set contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Asset Schedule Transaction Set (851) for use within the context of an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) environment. This transaction set provides for the customary and established business and industry practice relative to establishing a schedule of assets and the contractual terms and conditions relating to those assets agreed upon between lessor, lessee, buyer, seller, or any other party needing to establish a precise list of assets.
