Sequencing or serial part of an equipment unit's identifying number (pure numeric form for equipment number is preferred).

Sender's assigned number for referenced transaction set.

Date of referenced transaction set.

Code used to indicate that the transaction set contains information which corrects a previous billing.

Standard Carrier Alpha Code

Code specifying the method or type of transportation for the shipment.

If ZC108 is ``R'' (Rail), then ZC102 is required.
